Perfect stay for a NYC...
- What did you like most?The room was clean and had absolutely everything we needed! I loved the delicious morning breakfast and 24 hr coffee bar. The staff were exceptional, they were always helpful, joyful, and attentive to our needs. Would definitely book again!
Not what we signed up...
- What did you like most?Breakfast, beds were comfortable, and Smilin' Allie - Manager. The location was not bad.
- Was there anything you didn't like?We stayed at this location for 4 nights, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. Housekeeping only cleaned our room once during the entire stay, which was frustrating and inconvenient. All they did was provide us with more towels at our request. Needless to say, we collected a mountain of towels because housekeeping didn't clean our room. Although the hotel is advertised as non-smoking, the smell of marijuana permeated the entire 4th floor during the first two days of our stay. The odor eventually seeped into our room, making it uncomfortable. After bringing this issue to the manager’s attention (“Smilin’ Allie”), we were moved to the 20th floor on day 2. While the relocation helped somewhat, the overall experience left us dissatisfied. Allie mentioned that they are aware of housekeeping issues and have brought them to the attention of the higher-ups; it certainly did not help with our situation. Due to inconsistent housekeeping and pervasive smoke odor, this property did not meet the standards we expected from Hampton Inn.
