Located in the heart of Sydney CBD (Central Business District), Castlereagh Boutique Hotel, an Ascend Collection Hotel offers a restored, heritage-listed property near Sydney’s most cherished attractions including the Sydney Opera House, Harbor Bridge and Sydney Tower. This hotel is also convenient to Pitt Street Mall and Royal Botanic Gardens. Other nearby attractions include the Wildlife Sydney Zoo and Sydney Aquarium. Castlereagh Boutique Hotel, an Ascend Collection Hotel holds a significant piece of Sydney’s history, as the building was the first reinforced concrete construction seen in Sydney and became the yardstick for all of the other buildings built in the 1920s. The hotel’s restaurant has been restored in exact detail to its original décor, offering stunning period architecture that is a must-see during a stay. There are two meeting rooms, with the hotel able to accommodate 120 people for conferences, 40 people in theater style conference seating and 20 people in U-shape seating. Absolutely amazing building
- What did you like most?The gentleman at the reservation desk was very comforting and explained the history of the building to us.It was a great experience and will certainly stay there again.
